This was purchased in spike and it finally bloomed. It's my only peloric. There is another bud coming along behind it. I snapped this picture on my way out of the door this morning

I like the bellina shaped sepals. The color and the pelorism as well.
Pelorics are like Marmite ;actually I do like Marmite, but others hate it ; never met anyone who was in between - love or hate, never a half-way..
Pelorics I can do without - freaks of nature IMHO. But if you like them, then this is a good one, I'd think.
Each to his taste !
The only freak that is on my priority list is Phalaenopsis big lip/big foot type.
The triangular look of the flower I find charming. Excellent coloring also.
Not sure what grabbed me about this one. I do like pelorics I think although I realize they look strange and are mutated. I find the more I am into orchids the more my tastes are broadening. For a while I was very picky about the paphs that I acquired. I am now finding many that I originally wouldn't have given a thought to are on my wish list.
