What beautiful coloration Sheryl, and I am just as excited as everyone else is to see it in full bloom! Your plant is spectacular!

Progressing! Had considered having it judged in Orlando this past weekend thanks to Chris and Sriram's encouragement but Irma had other plans.

Rthere would be just one problem with this plant, if it were mine , I don't think I should be able to lift it !
But what a magnificent result Sheryl. Do make the effort and put it up , you can put the certificate somewhere, and look at it with pride, when it is not in flower. I hang mine in the smallest room - shows that I am really indifferent to all that praise etc., but secretly means that anyone who stays more than a few hours - as orchid nuts tend to, when they get in my greenhouse, do get to see them.....What a modest fellowI am....

I agree with Geoff. You should still try to get it in for judging. There are still a lot of flowers yet to open.

It is getting a bit heavy. I'll have to divide it in the spring. Here in Orlando, they only do a judging once a month so I'm afraid a lot of these blooms will be gone by then. Thanks so much for your encouragement. And to you as we'll Chris!
