I usually use rubbing alchohol. Other popular and same choices include %3 hydrogen peroxide solution (that's the concentration it's usually commertially available at), lemon juice, and milk. A very mild soap solution would probably work. I would not recommend a bleach solution.

Lovely Phal, BTW. Is this one of the successive bloomers, like P. cornu-cervi and P. mannii?

    Beautiful bloom and Photos!

We use sun-oil & water mixture in a spray bottle. Spritz it on the leaves and take a soft wash cloth and clean off the wetness. It cleans the plant leaves & gets rid of any little bug that might be hanging around unseen.

    Cheers!

Sure. I guess if people are interested in it, it is actually called SUN SPRAY ULTRA-FINE Year-Round Pesticidal Oil. The Active Ingredient: Parafinic Oil makes up 98.80% of the product. Here is a link to the PAN page on this product.

I will pm you a link where you can purchase it. We always just call it 'sun oil', I guess because the actual name is so long. LOL!

    Gorgeous!!!

BTW, I use lime juice or lemon juice to remove water stain from orchid leaves. Before taking my orchids for exhibitions at orchid shows or at my orchid societies' meetings, I would clean the leaves with lemon juice. Just soak a piece of paper towel or tissue paper in lemon juice and use it to swipe the leaves and the canes/pseudobulbs. The citric acid in the juice will dissolve all the salt and leave your orchid leaves shiny like new!
    Cheers. Hoa.
