    Default NOid pyschopsis...

I bought this plant back in June from the same store I got my mendenhall, so originally I suspected thats what it was. I was also a rescue, sitting in a pot with no drainage... I nursed it back to health since then though. It no longer had id, thus the thread. I know its not mendenhall, not butterfly, not sure about the other hybrids. Maybe a species? The thing that throws me is the usually frimbriated anter/column, it has those two knobs. Anyways...

That's a lovely flower. Can you tell us what you did to save this orchid and how long it took to bloom? You certainly got good results!! beer:

Is that the easiest way to ID Psychopsis? Are their...private parts...so distinctly different?

Actually flower size and the type of mottling or striping on the "wings" and lip are the best way. (Plus the 'wing' stance). But since sake showed his flowers 'private parts', I decided to give him just those as an example.
