    Default Birthday orchids in bloom

Since I am limited for space my husband gave me 2 small orchids for my birthday. The one is a minature that looks like a miltonidium and the other is a small branching phal. They fit perfectly on the windowsill over my kitchen sink where they will get minimum sun and great humidity. The miltonia has 5 spikes and the one that is open is 12 inches long. I love the color. The Phal has tiny little white specks that show when it is backlighted and is a deep purple.

Now that's a beautiful Phalaenopsis... the colour is wonderful!

And the Howeara's... WOW... five spikes... six spikes.... what a floriferous plant! You both are very lucky to have such a show!

    Good growing!
