    Default Phalaenopsis Brother Lancer Peloric!

    Peloric!
Phalaenopsis Brother Lancer… this Phal flowers each year, just like any other Phalaenopsis well it did till this year, now I am not sure if this is trouble or not, but it sure was a surprise. When the first flower opened and it was peloric, as each flower opens they too are all peloric, still got 4 or 5 more to open yet… Do you think this will be the way it flowers from now on or will it be a hit and miss each year, with some years being peloric and some not…. ????? Think this was cause from something in its surroundings or just it’s characteristic to have peloric flowers?

Has it suffered from any significant environmental changes, Laura?

Most likely it's those intergalactic aliens that moved in next door. Their whomping magnetic fields can screw up your microwave, let alone you little orchid's delicate sensibilities!

.....or, it could be showing off for a little attention. I think it is pretty. I suspect that it is just something with this blooming. It will be interesting to see if it does it again.

    Cheers,
