I have a whole bunch of my angraecoids in spike, and they have been in spike since october/november. They are still growing, but no sign of even buds yet.

Wow, they look happy! I have a big phal similar to those, and I'm not at home right now-so I can't go look at the tag-but looking at my list here I THINK it's Phal. DTPS. Blessed x brother sara gold (bs)....

Diane-how are you growing these, and how long have you had them? Did you repot when you they arrived?

I've had mine since June and it's sort of happy, but not THAT happy. I repotted to a plastic clear pot w/medium chc/bark mix. It was in an east window with a fair amount of morning sun, but now it's in a west window...not as much light.

Mine are grown in an east window with supplemental flourescent light. They are what most people would consider in need of repotting, but they are so happy that I don't want to disturb them. I did not repot when I got them. They are in medium bark mix, which is what I use for all my phals.
