Default Phal Aurelia Franklin

Three of my 10 plants that I bought are now flowering. Most of them are multi-spiking with 2 or 3 spikes each. Only one is single spike and it is the smallest of the 10. I am going to say these are grown from seed since there is quite a bit of difference in flower shape between them. This is the first time I have had enough of one of the same to experience it myself. Pretty interesting.

Here they are:

Interesting, similar to but not identical to my Aurelia Franklin. But that's to be expected when you are dealing with seed grown plants.

I do not believe they are clones at all. I believe, as Diane says, that they are seed grown. If they were clones I would expect that the flower shape would be nearly identical with some variation in the red, but maybe not even this much. We will see how that goes as the flowers open.

Very sunny, Steven!

But don't you think buying three of the same cross is a bit obsessive? I mean, even among the freakishly obsessive?

Actually,

and are you sitting down,

I mean, really, maybe you better sit on the floor,

No kidding, you are going to be floored,

Um, I bought FIFTEEN of them!

Like I said I got them to deal with. I have sold and traded with 5. Well, I actually gave one to my Mother-in-law. Now between getting her dendrobium to flower and this phal, heck, I almost am in her good graces.

I did say ALMOST!

The only thing she brags on me about is the orchids and when I let her daughter visit.

Oh, and amongst other measly single plants, I have 30 barbigerum and 30 charlesworthii that are on planes, trains or trucks headed my way too.
