    Default Phal Golden Silk

And quite an appropriate name it is. Not quite as golden yellow as I expected, but look at all the little shiney spots all over it!!! Still deciding if I want to keep this one of get more species plants (paph and phal). The lighting could be better, for sure. Tough to get good light during the week here in the North land. When I go to work it is dark and come home when it is almost dark.

Yes, a beauty. Sugar frosted is right! Hey, if you decide to deplete your non species collection there are many here who would take them off your hands, I'm sure! Me! Me!

    Steven,

If I was an orchid in your collection, I would not bloom for you!!! How could you not love this one? I think it looks good enough to eat! Sweet lemon cookie with a splash of raspberry syrup. yum!
Well, let me know when you are ready to give this one up for adoption

It looks like it is frosted with sugar. The purple on the pale yellow is lovely!

I suspect that the yellow will deepen as the bloom ages. I have a yellow with pink that starts out looking almost green and then mellowing into a lovely yellow. Nice bloom.
