    Default Zelenkocidium Memoria Harold Starkey

Zelenkocidium Memoria Harold Starkey (Zelenkoa onusta x Oncidium forbesii) This plant belongs to a friend. Notice the mount. This guy is so creative. He was tired of his rose bushes because they never really did very well, so he dug them up and mounted his small oncidiums to them. The mount is the root ball of a rose bush turned up-side down. Enjoy! [Edit: Title updated as per note in post #8]

Question, Daniel. If Oncid. was changed to Zelenkoa, then would the name of the plant I posted become Zelenkoa Mem Harold Starkey instead of Zelenkocidium Mem Harold Starkey??

Let me know before I update the thread. Thanks.

    Cheers,

    Aha! I've got it, Bruce...

Zelenkoa onusta x Oncidium forbesii = Zelenkocidium (Zed) Memoria Harold Starkey

Both are striking parents, and that's one gorgeous offspring!

Oh, thanks. I was confused when I looked it up on the genus listing. So Zelenkoa onusta and Oncidium forbesii. Great. Thanks for your help!!
