Mine's blooming too! I do love the rich red color. It bloomed most of last summer, so I was surprised when it spiked again a couple months ago. Sheepish confession: I got it to match my area rug. ha

It's true! When I got my first orchids, I was determined that since they would be in my living room, I might as well buy colors that matched the decor! Ha. You can imagine how long that approach lasted!

It is a great colour, and I am sure that somewhere in my past I thought that matching the colour scheme was a good idea. It didn't last long though!

My first thought was nice color on that flower. My second was great root growth on that plant to the left! [Who else but an orchid person would pause to admire that? LOL

Very nice. I have the same Phal and I think its full name is hillarious--Jungle Cat "Bloody Mary" -- somebody was having a good time when they named it. Actually, I have another one blooming right now called "Blue Martini" -- maybe it is a trend.

That's a striking Phal, Cin! I can see why it would jump into so many carts!
