    Thanks guys!

Just out of curiosity, do any of you have any ideas as to how to make a phal that is genetically inclined to be blue more blue? Are there any tricks of the trade I can try on this one, or other blue phals?

Fascinating! I'd call it periwinkle blue.

Sadie, I know light can influence the saturation of color for some blooms, but I don't know of anything that will change the hue.

Interesting shade of purple. Flower lips? [looks like has upper & lower] gives it a rather comical look ... kinda like it has a mouth.

A very well grown plant that is showing you how happy it is by giving you a large number of lovely flowers its very first time. In the picture the flower looks like it is willing to bite anyone who disputes its loveliness, form or color. Crunch!
