    Default Phal Sogo Viogold

    I don't even remember where I got this plant---but this is it's second blooming for me.
    The cross is (Phal Taipei Gold x Phal Violacea)
    The picture/label say Dtps---but after looking up the cross it seems it's a Phal.
    The yellow is a little brighter than this picture shows.
    It smells slightly citrusy (in a floor cleaner kind of way)...

    That is very cheerful! I wonder if the color will become more yellow as the flower ages? It looks to have lots of green in the bloom. I like it!

    You're correct, Cindy, it should be labeled Phal.

    It's lovely - the violacea really comes through. However, based on the scent, I'm wondering if the species parent might not be bellina... The two species are very similar, but fragrance is one of the identifying characteristics. Bellina has a lemony fragrance (similar to fruit loops), while violacea is spicy.

    That is lovely- reminds me of one I used to have called "sunset"- something or other. The colors are lovely, like Sorbet!!
