    That is a gorgeous noid. And a lovely cat too! My cat ignores the 'chids, as she feels they are competing for attention SHE should get.

    Yeah he's jealous...He watches me in the morning when I commence the orchid pampering procedure, waits till I go away for work and then bites on spikes and leaves. I just hope that Superthrive doesn't work on cats too.

    You can try using pepper wax spray on the leaves. I'm not sure if I would put it on spikes.

    I've got absolutely no idea what that is! I currently use the "throw-slipper-near-cat" technique and sometimes the "leave-cat-outside-when-leaving-house" approach.

    It could be..I've seen some possible candidates online, but the possibility of a positive id is slim. I know it kinda looks like a doritaenopsis, but who knows...
    Obviously something yellow and something purple had a one night stand somewhere in Europe 2-3 years ago!
