Isn't that a thick bloom?! The one that Gin sent to us put out only one flower (the plant was a baby) but the bloom lasted for ever. It has grown a couple of leaves. I hope it gives us more blooms this year. How many do you typically get per spike, Nelson?

Cheers,
BD

Usually one open at any time, although the spike can have three to four buds.

Default Phal. pulchra

Beautiful! I have one that had put out two flowers at a time. The spikes keep growing, but no more flowers. Do they need to cool down to set buds? Some of my other phal species blast if I drop the temp.
