Default Phal. Venus x Phal. celebensis

Here is a pic of this little cutie! I love this one, blooms are only about an inch across---and the leaves are beautiful too.

Question though---the tag reads "Phal. venus x ....", and I can't find any info. about 'venus' but I didn't think it was a species. Does anyone know who the parents are??

I bought a seedling of this same plant at a fall show, it hastn't bloomed yet. I assumed that Phal.Venus was a primary cross - perhaps with lindenii or one of the other little species. I hope mine blooms as nicely as yours soon!

    P. Venus = P. lindenii x P. equestris

This is a very cute plant. I enjoy that this hybrid retains the mottled leaves (which is a recessive trait in Phals). The striping is very eye-catching.
