Love it! I have one of these as well (not the alba form) and I love it. It blooms year 'round in my East facing office window...It's also a favorite of my co-workers.

    Default Wow, three spikes!

Beautiful Ron. Mine is Psy Kalihi "Big" and only has one spike and a new growth. Here is a pic.

    Thanks for sharing.

Great flower! I have a psychopsis (regular variety) and the spike has gotten so long, it drives me crazy (about 4 feet tall). I know it keeps blooming from the same spike, but what would happen if you trimmed the spike to make it a more manageable size? Would it still bloom?

I accidentally broke a spike, above a node, and it side spiked from the node below the break. I assume cutting a spike would cause the same action

    Hi,
Supposedly if the spike is trimmed or broken off part way down it will branch and send up a new flower tip. Don't think I want to try it though. :-)
They do tend to get in the way when you grow on a stand or windowsill.

Can't wait til mine blooms. Lots of new growths. Currently 3 small ones. It is growing in tree fern fiber. Bought it last year at our show.
