I always keep my eye open for one of these; not many stores cary them around here. Great bloom

Red face Another phal

The Baldan's Kaleidoscope "Golden Treasure" is definitely my favorite phal. I bought a huge one with 2 spikes at an orchid show last February and it bloomed for 4 months. I am now waiting for it to spike again. So far, no luck. Another favorite phal of mine is called Baldan's Red Gold "Lowland". I will attempt to post a picture. (I'm not a very good photographer.)

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

That's really nice Tommy! The second spike on mine is at about the same stage. This plant has to be a classic Phal.
Happy Holidays,
Al
