    Default Dumpster Winner!

Once again my local garden center was filling their dumpster with beatuies like this.... it almost looks like a peloric form. Crown rot got to it and I'm hoping beyond hope that it will throw new growth this spring. Other pics at thread "Brighten My Winter"

Beautiful bloom ! It is a peloric , if it has crown rot don't give up on it . pour peroxcide in the top then wick it out when done fizzing .Keep top dry but water roots . It probably will produce a basal keiki (they grow fast ) .. Gin

Thanks, Gin, for the vote of confidence. I have "cleaned up" the crown as best I can and do keep it VERY dry, watering the roots only...but I have one or two other beauties (pic) that got rot awhile back but have not grown basal keikis....but I won't give up until.......

    Default Phal. Center Stage

Oh, Wow, that has to be one of the prettiest Phals. I've ever seen!
My local 'garden center' won't mark down any of their orchids, just leave them on the shelves to die. I've never been lucky enough to catch the manager but hope that someday he/she and I will cross so I can see If I can 'deal'.
    Happy Holidays,
    Al
