    Default Dark violet Phal

This beauty was a gift from my husband. Based on his loving care through-out my recovery, I have named this noid after him......

    Phal 'Saint Ron'

It' so much darker purple/pink than it shows up in pictures. There are two tiny branches starting lower down as well as the three it has blooms on already. My husband has one good eye for phals.

It is a beauty, Connie. By any chance are the leaves mottled?

Actually, the leaves are an amazing med. green color outlined on the edges by a violet to purple color. One leaf had been damaged so I got it for half price. The scrape has dried out nicely and no longer affects the look at all.

I agree. The branching habit of this one is elegant in it's form. It deserves a pretty decorative cache pot to sit in. time to look through the storage cupboard.

So... are the leaves mottled/dotted?... I think branching in pink/lavender/purple phals is a trait that is passed in "Schilleriana" heirloom!... Don't you think?...
