Ooops! I took my dad walking through a big box store (that I had been told had some orchids now) just for excersize. Look what followed us home!
Three views of this cutie! I see one of the photos shows yellowing along the lip that is not visible to the eye.
Oh, that is so nice.
BTW I love the line where you said "...just for exercise". You are so funny! hehehe... I got red roses today! First time in years. It was nice.
Hmmm, I have to adopt a Dad!
Very nice find!
Oh so pretty, does she have a name?
The tag says phal.Wedding Promenade. Don't believe it! This one looks nothing like any of the wedding promenade photos I have seen. Guesses, anyone?
Definately Doritaenopsis Black Butterfly
Bless you, Giovanna! All the tags in all the phalaenopsis plants at this store read Phal.Wedding Promenade. They were all differant colors and patterns, so I didn't think Wedding Promenade could be correct for them all. Any one know what the breeding of Dtps Black Butterfly is?
It's a cross, Golden Peoker x Taisuco Sweet. I have a doritaenopsis and it keeps getting bigger and bigger but still no blooms. You can see the trait of doritis in it, the plant grows upwards with every new leaf and not flat like most phals that have a tendency to tilt sideways. I bought it last May...the blooms last forever.
