Psychopsis papilio in bloom PHOTO
This plant has been in bloom for months with 3 spikes and continue to bloom and bloom. These pics were taken last year.
I like this species, it has beautiful mottled leaves and stays in bloom for months and months, sometimes for years. The spikes do get very tall.

Thanks. If you ever want a forever blooming orchid, get a Psychopsis.

Very striking species. It's been on my "to get" list for a while. I hear that they can be temperamental. How do you grow them, Pete?

Thanks, Jason!
I grow both of my Psychopsis papilio and Mendenhall right next to my multifloral Paphs and Phrags, so same conditions/culture. I find them very easy to grow and bloom.
Their mottled leaves are quite attractive and stay in bloom forever. The blooms are very large bug like especially the Mendenhall.
