Here is a Phrag. Giganteum in bloom. The petals are about 14 or 15 inches long and hopefully still growing. (I know, I need to raise it up again so they don't touch the bench.) Just no time...

Anyway here is a front and back view across the bench...

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

I wasn't touching...

although, if I was there, I would prolly blow on those petals to see them swinging....

that pic from the back is kinda different... that pouch reminds me of something reptilian, like maybe the skin or egg... eeep... definitely one to admire from the front for me... esp those long tresses... oh, i love long petalled slippers....

LOL! Too bad, Tim. It is a fun orchid! We took it to the orchid society meeting on Sunday and won a best plant of the month award on it as well as the best slipper award.

Anyway, thanks for looking!

Cheers!
