Pete, Like Heather ,another one for my list....
now Heather we should not covet our orchid friends growing area

you have 1700 sq ft and only a 4x5 table to grow on...shame on you...go get you some nice racks...Lowes' has them and they have adjustable shelves to accomodate taller orchids. ....that is one in the left of my phal picture.

South windows are the best girl!!! I know a lady that bought her house because of the southern exposure and no eaves! Mine faces North...the worst for high light orchids. You have great possiblities for growing ,so go for it!!!

    Thanks, you enablers you....

Gilda, I work at a museum which has a Shaker collection, and smiled when you said about coveting - they have a famous rule: "don't covet your neighbor's victuals." Whether it is polite or not, I still covet your growing area!

I will be getting more space. I've got two upstairs south facing windows, above these. I just enjoy the plants so much in this central area, I don't want to move any where I won't see them so much.

Though, now that I think about it, I suppose if I moved all the catts, I'd have more room for Phrags!

Gilda and Heather, you guys should have a haynaldianum in your collection, to me, it is the most beautiful multlforal species.

My last plant came from Antec and they sent me a bonus blooming size plant and some chocolate, plus free shipping for the month of May.

Now lja, should hurry up and stock up on Paph and Phrag species, so we can order from him.

Heather, you can definitely squeeze in a warscewiczianum. The plant is probably smaller than its name.

Heather listen to Jason and get a warscewiczianum also. It is actually smaller than haynaldianum.
