Default WOW what a Berenice!!!!

Heather, thanks for posting and your Berenice is the best specimen sized Berenice plant I have ever seen and what a well grown plant! Yes, I can also tell it is the same exact clone as mine and WOW, the root system is to die for!

My Berenice is nowhere that size and I have had it for about 3 years, I'm now so jealous!

Well, you're the one who found it! lol!
Yeah, so I left those roots pretty much as seen in the pic. Tried to get as much media out as I could, but as you can tell, not that easy. I'm calling them about that weird stuff in there as soon as they open. I hope it was some sort of aeration assistance. It really seemed like it was supposed to be there.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments. That first pic isn't great of the blooms, but I mostly wanted you to see the plant.

Yes, I would be curious too! But they do have great plants. He is also an expert. Let us know when you find out what it is.

Heather!

Very nice plant! The roots would make me a little uneasy at 6AM. (Looks like fish bait!) Have you heard anything about what that stuff in the pot was? I was thinking back and remembering one of my friends said something about using a fiber insulation in small pieces to give the plants roots more room to breath. I wonder if that is what it might be? Curious to find out too!

Cheers!

Just found out - synthetic moss - so they say. To absorb some of the water. That's what it sure was acting like this morning, when I'd drenched it and was trying to get it out of there. I guess I can get rid of my little jar now. Thanks!
