Others didn't get bonus plants and I think they got jealous. I'm glad you mentioned my suggestion, good for you!

I hear antec frequently supplies bonus plants. I have to order from them sometime.

Heather, that plant you have is from a vinicolor cross but is probably not a vinicolor. Vinicolor leaf bases are almost always brushed liberally with deep red. There is a tight linkage between that red leaf base and vinicolor flowers, although there is perhaps a 1-3% chance of a vini without a dark base, or vice versa. I suppose those odds are the reason behind all those dishonest ebay ads showing a plant with a green leaf base and pictures of the darkest vinis around...

A famous "coloratum". Typical coloratum coloration, but enormous size and exemplary form.
    Maudiae 'Los Osos'

Coloratums from vini crosses are often darker than normal coloratums, with some having a "flame" type pattern on the dorsal--a greenish translucent patch in the middle, surrounded by darker pigmentation.

Oh,thank you Jason! I really didn't know (just assumed all those dark ones were the vinis. Lol! Obviously haven't done my research on that one yet.) I do have another coloratum whose leaves are very similar in mottling to this one, so I guess that makes sense. It is very different looking, so I don't really mind having another little guy, though again, not my choice.
