    Default My Paphiopedilum sanderianum

Ok, Heather you showed me yours, so now it's my turn to show you mine. LOL! So, here it is, you like? It is about 9 inches and I had to remove an older leaf just to take the picture for you today.

Bought it in Aug of 2001 and it was about 6 inches when it first arrived. Yes, very slow growing plant, especially at that age.

You two are making me jealous.

I'm still counting on the price dropping on this species. Eventually. Or when I pay off my loans, whichever comes first.

grace period and consolidation are the only reasons I'm not currently living on a park bench...(I can barely afford the rent on those benches anyway)

Prices have come down a little but still very expensive and good ones are still hard to find.

? the only thing obnoxious are the cost of education and the paltry salary of housestaff...but hey, as long as i can pay the bills and get a few plants, it's all good.
