Ok, here's how much of a goof I am, I was about to write a message about how jealous I am until I realized I JUST BOUGHT THIS PLANT 3 WEEKS AGO (well, almost the same plant)! Man, the mind is the first thing to go... Actually my exact plant I got at the Woodside's open house, it's:

Penns Creek Cascade [3N] (Grande 'Patuxent Giant' [4N] x wallisii 'Tower Grove' HCC/AOS)

Anybody up on the specific plants used to make mine - should it look like Louis'?

Also, I have mine outside and noticed the leaves are starting to wrinkle a bit where they bend - I'm wondering if I'm giving it too much direct sun or what? I keep the thing very well watered and always moist. Thoughts?

Huh? I don't remember talking about this hybrid with you. Maybe, it was somebody else?

No, I don't think I was the one who had that discussuion with you. Please don't even mention that crappy place here. Is he still begging for money to support his hobby? And those dummies of his still send him money? How dumb and pathetic is that?

Any, if I did have that discussion with you I must have forgotten it but don't remember.

Yes, sure Peter, I'll post them tomorrow morning with the others (I did *not* purchase!) - hard to photograph the long petals, tho mine are only 8.5" so far. He said they should keep growing tho? true? Any photo tips? They sure wave around in the breeze a lot!

So, culture info? I know for the Grande, but wouldn't mind some wallisii or combo info...

I don't have one, maybe U should ask lja. I grow my wallisii in very very bright condition with lots of air circulation. I make sure my wallisii stays moist and not constantly wet. They like to be on the dryer side but not bone dry. U should get a walisii next! U don't have any long petalled Phrag species, do U? Well, it's about time, so says the Slipper gods! Hahahaha!!!

Guys, I have the same grande x wallisii cross as LJA. I was wondering what recommendations you have for culture. Mine has gotten a bit leathery looking at the bend of the leaves, think I gave it a tad too much sun right away. Suggestions re sun and watering?
