Cardinale blooms have much shorter and rounder petals from the parent schlimii and the pouch is also much darker. Those petals are a bit narrower and longer, similar to Sedenii. Just my observation.

You know it's an addiction when you scoff at AOS judges. But then again, they did give the coveted FCC to a WHITE PHAL a few years ago. And their track records when it comes to schlimii and caudatum is less than perfect.
