Default Paph. Maudiae 'Magnificum' FCC/AOS pollen

I can offer only one set of pollen on this great hybrid... it has VERY good flower shape and color, and a HUGE size! I am looking to do a trade ONLY... looking for almost any Paphiopedilum species pollen... =)

'Magnificum' I believe has an FCC/RHS from waaaaaaaaaaay back when, and somehow a JC/AOS. Not sure about the description that qualified it for a JC, maybe for historic reasons? Also not sure how fertile it is, although the notorious one is Maudiae 'The Queen', a far superior Maudiae supposed to be 3N and almost completely infertile.

I think you are right, it may be a FCC/RHS...

As for fertility of the cultivar, I looked at the pollinia, and noticed how small they are, about the size of a P. barbigerum sac... quite wierd... I will try and look for other information on the cultivar, as I may just end up enjoying the flowers instead... =( Do you know if the cultivar is able to accept other pollen?

Thanks for the information,

-Pat
