OT Toolbar and Firefox 3
Well, Firefox 3 was just released, and let me say, I love it. I think Firefox is a better browser than IE in the first place, and I'm not afraid to say so. But FF3 is even better than FF2. There's only one problem. The OT Toolbar isn't compatible with it yet. So, now that it is installed, I guess I'll just go back to using Firefox 2, cause I can't go without my OT toolbar. Bruce, you working on a FF3 update yet?

I have a major update in the works for the OTtoolbar. It is not ready yet as I have been working on the forum software to get a few new features working and updating some of the ones that need to change to work better with the new security tokens that our forum uses. I have not looked at the changes made with the FF3 browser, so it may slow me down a bit since it is so new. But don't worry, I need the OTtoolbar too. It makes everything so much easier!
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Geoffrey, You can now use FireFox 3.0 and the OrchidTalk toolbar. I have created a release candidate that will allow you to use the toolbar. I have not updated the functions within the toolbar, so no new features with this release, but I did update the code to be compatible with FIRE FOX 3.0. This new update is also backward compatible so you can use it on your current version of Fire Fox if you have not upgraded to the latest version, FIRE FOX 3.0 released on June 18, 2008.
Visit this page to download and install the 3.0 RC2 OT Toolbar. Please be aware that only active members of OrchidTalk can access the download page. You must also be logged into the forum.
Cheers,
BD
