Tim, I was going to nominate this name the very first time I saw the photo BUT this is the first Edithiae that I have seen with the dorsal markings as this has & I would have seen many dozens. Thats why I went the way I did. To add, most Edithiae have all been sosimilar they could have been mericlones.

Tim, here ( I hope ) is a pic of a Paph Charles Sladden, bellatulum x glaucophyllum, I think you will find it interesting comparing it to your pic. I forgot about this cross when guessing and why I suggested your Paph didn't resemble the cross you said it was. Even though there is strong color difference. I have seen both forms. The pouch variation is normal.

    lovely coloured Charles Sladden...

interesting about the possibility of this being mislabeled... I'll have to check with the person i got it from... and thankfully I'll be able to do so on Monday by taking the plant to the Orchid Soc meeting.

I did google around and there was an intersting pic of Paph Eira which is concolor x chamberlainianum which colour wise is quite close.. and of course, differences in shapes is quite normal...

will let u know how things pan out.

    cheers
    tim
