To spare His Princely Paphliness some Ozzie coins, PoP is shipping the booty aka books to me and I'll redistribute to our winners. They're en route to the US, so it's in the works, but will take a bit more time.

Well, the coast of New England is getting hammered with a nasty storm today. Horizontal rain and gusts of up to 60 mph. So it's a great day to stay in and do...whatever - as long as you stay in!

So wasn't I surprised when the doorbell rang an hour ago. I wasn't expecting anyone, and I couldn't imagine who'd be out in such nasty weather. Huddled on my porch was the poor DHL delivery guy with a package for me. Yes, orchid fans, you've guesed it!

The Prince's Books just got in from Oz!!!

They're very cool, too! I've already pawed your prizes, Mehera and Cin, and you'll love 'em! But you will want to buy more orchids. Mine is very nerdy - Tim, you choose your gifts so well!

So I'll get them off to you both on Monday. Thanks again your royal Paphness!

How did they get here so fast?! Geez, I've had slower deliveries here in the States. I'm excited to see the book--pawed or not! LOL

Rain? Rain with 60 mph winds? I sure am glad you New Englanders like being abused by the weather! (We don't have any more room out here in the sunny, 80 degree, light breeze country)

LOL! You're such a warm weather girl!

No, because the temp is dropping. There aren't any storm windows, and it's an old house so the windows are really drafty. When it gusts and is cold as was today you can see the breeze in the room! When it gets really cold, as in below zero, I can chew through gas trying to keep the place warm. High ceilings to boot mean I'm paying a lot to freeze my butt off!
