Default Winners of the Fundraiser Contest

First - thanks to all those who participated!! This forum is a great place for us to share and learn and each of us benefits from it in many ways. I know how hard BD and LJA work to keep it going. Your contributions will make a difference!!

I wanted this to be completely impartial.

I took the names and wrote each on a slip of paper.

The slips were folded and placed in the official coffee pot holder.

Then I mixed the pieces around for a minute, and then dumped them into a paper sack.

I shook up the sack and then drew 3 slips.

1st slip for $25,

2nd for $50

and 3rd for $75....

The winners are:

$25 ... Tmai

$50 ... desertgal

$75 ... bench72 (aka Tim, aka PoP) thats in US dollars, too!

Congratulations!!!! you should have a PM from me...

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Is it polite to ask how much we raised for the forum?

Oh, and...Diane Thumb...isn't that slip lying behind the coffee pot holder the one with my name on it? Hmm...

Congrats to our weiners and everyone who participated!

Moi aussi!!!
Congrats to the weinners!!!

But I have a question. Was my name in the drawing too? When you use Paypal, especially if it is for transfering money from your checking account to a service provider/vendor, it could take many days! Hehheeee ...

Oh...wait, Hoa! I see...

...yes, that's a second folded piece of paper behind the official coffee pot holder. Just beside mine. Let me see...I can almost make out the name...

...yup - it's yours. At least I have some company.

hmmm....my money was sent instantly, no slow echecks, nothing. I just make sure my mom's credit card is on there for backup. For some reason when my credit card used for backup also takes a very long time, maybe because my card limit is very low?
I'm not lucky with draws so I knew I wasn't gonna win or was mine behind the coffee cup
