I recently got a Paphiopedilum malipoense (not in bloom, but if you want a pic...) and I wanted to know if anyone had success with it in s/h? From reading about it's natural habitat it sounds like it would love it, but I still want opinions. Thanks!
I do have success with that species so far in S/H, but it has only been in it for maybe 4 months (?). However this plant suffered from rot when I got it and all of the leaves were gone except of the small middle leaf (It was a dying plant when I got it). It had a great root system and is growing new leaves quickly under S/H. I didn't unpot it so check if the old roots died off, but I think it is healthy based on the growth
