I found some pots by going to a well known auction site and searching for
Deli Containers which are available in several sizes.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did of course finally find a pot right after I lamented my lack thereof!
So I repotted on Saturday and am now sitting around wondering how long it will be before I see a reaction, either positive or negative. The phal I repotted currently has a bloom and so far itdoesn't look like it is going to be dropped - any idea how long before I am "out of the woods"?
(I figure the first thing it would do is drop the bloom it is unhappy...)

Well, it's been a week now and the blooms look fine, so I think I am in the clear.
I can't wait for more roots! I love roots! (does that make me crazy?)

Hcubed, I would try Lechuza pots, since you're in Germany. They are gorgeous and do the trick!

Do any of you folks using s/h have a problem with condensation?? I keep reducing the amount of water in the bottom of the pot, in fact I've poured out almost all that will come out, and I still have lots of condensation, which I'm worried is going to rot the roots....
The plant seems fine, in fact I think it maybe working on a new bud, but I am worried about those roots!
Does anyone use air holes or something to increase circulation? I think that would be best, but then I am going to have a problem watering it without getting soaked!

Hmm? Maybe you need a fan to increase air movement across your orchids. I cannot see why you would be getting condensation unless the temps inside the pot and outside the pot are very different.
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .
