    Wow, I just discovered these and I'm excited to see these results -- thank you so much for posting your pics.

    I grow on a bookshelf, basically, with my orchids on a humidity tray on the top shelf and a CFL grow light hung above them, and I've been wanting to start growing on the shelf below that, too. I'm thinking about mounting an LED panel (or panels? I haven't even sorted out how big they come) on the underside. Do you think that would work as a solo light source? I mostly grow catts, other high-light orchids, and a couple phals/dtps's toward the edge of my lighted area.
