mist makers for humidity

    Default mist makers for humidity

    i already have a small humidifer running for my room where the orchids are but the humidity still is low just wondering if those mist makers that you place in a bowl of water produce decent humidity combined with my humidifier anyone here has one and can give feedback? how often does it need to be running etc ...

    Thanks for reply “cdayinflorida”, But still mist maker, he had used can produce decent humidity combined to humidifier.

    What you have to do is look at the amount of water they put into the air. A single, 20 mm disc ultrasonic fogger can put about 150 ml/hr into the air, which is only about a gallon per day. If you have any air exchange from the room - and we all do - that simply isn't enough to do much good.
