    Default Recommendations for Greenhouses

So my collection has gotten to the point that I no longer wish to drag them all inside another winter. I'm wondering what types you'll use to overwinter your orchids. Not in a position to buy a permanent greenhouse at the moment so looking for something that will last a couple of winters here in Houston.

    Thanks!

Miller there is a farm and ranch type store in the Houston area that has some walk in greenhouses on clearance for around $30 - $80 right now. I am looking at getting one for the same purpose and putting it on my patio. Then if we get the occasional freeze or long term cold temps, I can easily put a small heater or lights inside to help with keeping it warm. Either that or getting lights and putting them in the garage.

Miller, I'm feeling better about having a smaller collection after reading your remark about, "dragging them indoors for the winter" ~ though I'll admit I miss battening down the hatches like we used to do in New Hampshire. Nothing ever got done in one week-end, maybe you can approach the transition that way...

Mary Kay, could you paste a link to the greenhouse you're considering? It sounds too good to be true.

Thanks Mary, if you could pm the store that would be awesome.

    Thanks
