LOL, just move into the terrarium, Tindo!

Do you have trouble with mold growing on your driftwood?

It happens, and it happens alot when you are first starting. But its undercontrol. I have one or two green spots on the most humid piece. Otherwise the mold is a no show. When I first started though, it was everywhere. I left everything alone, as I figured that mold that eats drift wood is probably not the type that east live plants. Oh and I added springtails who also like to eat mold. Keeps the problem at a minimal.

What do you mean by "fix" them? Attach them? Or correct the mold problem?

Mold has not been an issue. As for mounting them, I either used sewing string or cut paper clips. I would sew the string into the background and then tie it so that the plant would be supported/pressed against the background. Or if I was trying to mount it onto one of the pieces of wood, I would use the string to just tie it on. The other method is the paperclip. I would cut the paperclip down to size and shape it into a V form or U form, and pin the plant against the background(without puncturing the plant ofcourse).

You know people tell me to sell these, but it takes so long to build, plus Im still trying to figure out what will survive and what wont. The value, the orchids alone all together would be around $200, and the tank another $200. Few, so thats where my money went hahaa.

how did you figure out the intervals to have your fans going?? I'm trying to find out what to do for my new vivarium... Do the plants need them to run all the time or just in intervals?? and for how long?? This vivarium business was so much harder than I thought..
