Default Panasonic DMC-TZ5 Fully Automatic

This camera is amazing. The biggest knock on most reviews is the lack of manual settings. All of these pic's were shot on Regular Auto setting except the sunrise over West Palm Beach, which was shot with the sunrise/sunset mode.I did not adjust any of the prints on this post with the software(didn't have to). This camera is 9.1 Mega/pixels fitted w/28mm-280mm zoom,Shots HD video(no surround sound)mono ?? The software is great. If you are looking for a easy point & shoot loaded with a ton of auto settings you can not go wrong. The other really cool thing hooking up to HD TV's full screen viewing of shots 42"-50" is mint. The shot of the bridge is set a 28 mm The next shot of the Multi Colored Condo is at 280 mm.Shot from the same location.I really enjoy shoting pic's again.Anyone thinking about purchasing online make sure that you really look into the vendors,go into reveiws about the vendors from independant sites. There are alot of internet vendors that are bogus. The old adage " If it sounds to good" No vendor would sell anything $150.00 less than MSRP.I felt,I needed to share. After I previewed this post, the first two pic's look much better without being resized. Still Having Fun !! , Rich

For fun, I use a Canon Powershot A550...
Good quality photo's... just a bit limited by features.
No RAW, no time lapse etc... very clumsy interface, after more than a year I still can't give you the button sequence to delete all images... yeah I can figure it out after a few presses... but it just illustrates...

For more serious stuff, I love my giant old Pentax K2... It serviced 3 generations of photographers in my family so far... Fully old manual camera from the 70's. I also have Brownies and those old concertinal like cameras from the turn of the previous century

Polaroid baby......shake it, shake it, shake it...like a polaroid picture.

Just kidding. I'm using my work camera Canon Powershot A580. I would love to have a fancy once though.

Polaroid no longer does Polaroids - Engadget

You better stock up then if any retailers still carry it around there...
