Default What photo editor do you use

I use Irfanview which is freeware and dead easy to use. It has a function on it where you can watermark a "copyright" onto your image which usually renders it useless to the image phishers on the web. All photo editing software has this feature but I don't know how user friendly it is on other software

I use Canon's own software that came with my camera for the most. But for little tweaks like levelling horizons I use Photoshop Elements. It is a little bit pricey but very handy.

I have photoshop CS5 on my computer at home, but most of the time I use the free editor here in the forum. It is quick and easy and does everything I need. I don't usually watermark my photos, but it can do that too. Here is the link: OrchidTalk Photo Editor

Hey Bruce, I've just clicked your link to the Orchidtalk Photo Editor, it's fantastic. Is there any chance you can add it to the toolbar when you next upgrade?

Great idea. I read recently that Firefox was going to version 6 beta recently. When I do the next upgrade I will be sure to add in the photo editor. Thanks for the suggestion. That should be a prominent button link on the toolbar too I think.

    Cheers,

CS5, use time, treatment does not always make pictures, especially the orchids.

Great to see you, Steve! Been a while.

Never heard of Irfanview ... may have to check it out some time.

I use either Olymus Master 2.0 which is free to download and use, or the one on Photobucket.

I usually don't do anything with my pictures of orchids, just crop if necessary or sometimes add brightness with Microsoft Office Picture Manager and very seldom (mostly for non-orchid pics) with Picasa 3.

I use the photo editor from Nikon that came with my camera. It can do a lot more than I have any need for but it's great for making a picture a little lighter or a little darker.

I use an old photo editor from Nikon, It can just do the thing I need today in a very straight forward way. I only shoot in jpg at up until now.

My work flow is the following: expose as good as possibly in good light, adjust brightness, contrast, red, green and blue in that order (usually I do not need to tuch the colors, exept for white flowers) . Then i crop the picture and resize it, last I sharpen it for web publication.

I have a dream to learn more fancy programs for post production and get more into photography but thats for the future...
