Navagiting the Forum

I hoped to use this forum as a vehcle to make me a better grower. I registered about a month ago. I have tried to navigate the forum from time to time with negative results. In my advanced age I heve become a bit impatient. I give up after a time. Later I try again with the same results. I keep thinking I will find a page with instructions. HELP!!!!

You can contact me any time for help at the link below (bottom of page) that says 'contact us.

To get to the main forums you can click the tab at the top of the page that says ORCHID FORUM

To get to the front page (home page or lobby page) of the site, simply click the people in the logo or anywhere near them.

To visit the orchid auction section of the site click the tab at the top of the page called ORCHIDBIDS

You seem to know how to post a message, but if you need a refresher, visit the home page and click on the HELP link just below the tabs and people logo at the top of the page.

There is more to the forum than posting a message. I stubled around until figured that part out. It just seems to me that there should be a page of instruction that would answer questions that a new member mite have???? Such as posting icons. Posting pictures. What is an orchid forum tag?

Tom, most questions of the general use nature can be answered by reading the sticky threads here: USING THE BOARDS
Other important information can be found in the FAQs. And if you have a question that you cannot find the answer too, just ask.

Don't give up Tom! Forum use in general can take some getting used to even for the computer savvy. There are TONS of great people here that will answer any questions you have! Just don't be afraid to ask!

Welcome Tom,

Keep at it. I've only been on here a couple of weeks. I'm just starting to feel like I know how to get to where I want to go. I did a lot of fumbling around, too...but in doing that I got to read a ton of information and see a whole bunch of BEAUTIFUL orchids!

I'm still stumbling around. Hopefuly making headway. Not having a photographic memory I would like to print some of the instructions provided by some of the good members. I'm thinking that printing a message is not allowed?? Am I correct?

At the top of your first post, the tools bar : " Thread tools " and " Show printable version " . This is what you want ?
