    Default I Got Another 'Glicks'

I have a problem shutting down my pc everytime after visiting the forum. I don't know if its a problem with my pc or its forum related. But I have tried visiting other forum and then shut down and it was fine. It happened the very first day the new forum version was installed, that was 3 days ago? I had been having problem ever since.

When I click the 'start' button, the button will freeze. I tried leaving it for longer period to give it time, but that didn't work. Even after leaving it, went down to have my lunch, come back and its still frozen. I can't do anything after logging out and closing the browser, except pressing the big button below.

Anyone has this kind of problem or is it just me and my pc?

Tanya, I can't say for positive, but I really doubt that problem is going to be forum related. At least, nobody posting bug reports on the vB website ever mentioned something like this, and there are lots and lots of people testing the software.

You might try downloading two programs from downloads.com . One is called Ad-Aware SE and the other one is called Spybot Search and Destroy. They're on that website's main page, down near the bottom at the right. The problem might be being caused by adware or spyware that has attached itself into your Windows. Those programs will check for that stuff and get rid of it. Try running the scans then rebooting your machine and see what happens.

I have both the Spybot and the Spywareblaster and I update and scan on regular basis. I just did a scan after reading your post and found no problem. I will try some other things, maybe my pc is going 'senile'.

    Thanks
