Hey folks, I went out and wrote a review on Amazon.com for the book. Those who bought it should do the same, and go to B&N and review it there too!

(it takes a few days for the reviews to show up some times)

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Bruce,

My copy arrived here yesterday! It's delightful--and I'm thrilled to own a copy and have this window into the talented, wonderful, diverse members of this community.

Kudos to you for all the effort, hard work and creative talent you put into this project!

Thanks so much for you kind words. I appreciate the kudos, but I could not have done it without the help of the members here. We are all really blessed! It is really something to have a project that produced a product that will out last all of us. When we are all very, very old, we can look back and remember when we decided to publish a book. We may not remember all of the ups and downs, but the feeling of accomplishing something beautiful will last forever. Thanks for getting a copy and supporting our community.

Cheers,
BD

Bruce,
Got my book last week & I love it, as does my family!! You did a great job putting it together... photos, bios & info. The back of the book was an added bonus, I love the helpful tips I added my review to Amazon.com, hope it helps. Anything else I can do to boost sales??
Valerie

Thanks so much Val!! The review will help lots I bet! B&N also accepts reviews and you do not have to have bought the book there to review it.

Other than good reviews, I am not sure how to boost sales. I am telling everyone I know about the book. I took ten copies to my orchid society meeting and sold them. I am speaking to a local garden club to see if I can interest them in something 'orchid' and hopefully sale autographed copies there too. If you have a society you could mention it there.

I am so happy you liked the book. Thank you so much for participating in its creation. Your photos are very beautiful and add so much! (How did you like page 12-13? heheheheeee.. one of my MANY favorites!)

Cheers,
BD
