I got an email from B & N with a coupon code for 10% off any purchase. If you haven't got a copy of ORCHIDS THROUGH OUR EYES, here is a chance to get your copy and save a few dollars before July 15. Use coupon code: D7K4E3R at checkout.
And thank you to the recent reviewers. One on Amazon and the other on B & N! I appreciate the kind words!!
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Sorry, Murray, they charged so much down there. That seems like an extreme markup. In the states and on Amazon in most of Europe and Canada it is the same price, 39.95 US.
For anyone who has not got her/his copy of the book, below is a coupon code for 10 percent off at B&N.
From now till August 19th, Enter coupon code P9W8T7C at checkout to receive 10% off the price of you order. I believe this works on all purchases in their on-line store.
Cheers,
BD

That is extreme for shipping charges. Both Amazon and B&N offers free shipping (at least in the US) and B&N sells the book for $4.00 less for members. Total 35.95 (shipped). I just checked their shipping and here is what it says:
Quote:
B&N:
Standard Delivery: 3-8 business days $3.99
Expedited Delivery: 3 business days or less Free
Air Service: 2-3 business days $9.48
Expedited Air Service: 1-2 business days $15.00
|
I wish everyone who was getting the book could get the free shipping. I don't understand why it costs so much to ship things lately.
Below is the 10% off coupon code that I posted earlier:

Oh, you got international shipping. That is why the expense is so high for shipping. I thought you bought it in New Zealand for domestic delivery.
Cheers,
BD
