...this beautiful--and as yet unnamed--clone of Paph. Shin Yi's Pride. This multifloral orchid, a mature seedling with a leafspan of over 22 inches, is growing in a 5 inch pot and is scheduled to bloom within the next year--more than likely, early this upcoming spring. Flowers resemble St. Swithin in color and shape, and may or may not have a spiral twist to the petals (we're waiting on these too!).

This particular Paph. Shin Yi's Pride is a medium-temp to warm-growing hybrid between Paph. Michael Koopowitz 'Reach Out' and Paph. rothschildianum 'Stilleto', and it grows easily and well with bright light and roots which are kept damp (not soggy) but never allowed to reach dryness.
