Hi all, here are the pictures of my latest Cattleya in bloom.
It is an unifoliate plant, which was blooming last year in Sept/Oct with fragrant long lasting blooms.
Here is the closeup of the lip.
Unfortunately the name said only Cattleya. I hope someone can identify it.
Elegant flower! Nice photos too.
Was just looking some pictures on the net, this one somewhat resembles Cattleya trianae var. alba. what do you people think??
Amey, she is gorgeous!!! Hope you will find the name because I want one!
it's a gorgeous flower...
an actual ID will be really hard... but try out Cattleya Bow Bells, or C. Queen Sirikhit, or C. Hawaiian Wedding Song...
Beautiful!

Stunning. Great photos also!
Thank you all for your comments ! Special thanks to you Tim. I searched the names you suggested and now I am quite convinced that it is Cattleya Bow Bells. Actually a picture by one vendor matches this picture exactly !! So Margo add Bow Bells to your wish-list.
Hey just bumping up this topic, It took me a few weeks of lengthy emails, long conversations on phone and one good habit to identify this white catt. I contacted the vendor here in Germany for the identification of the plant. They told me to directly contact the plant producer from the Netherlands. The producer from the Netherlands asked me if i had the tag that came with the plant and guess what, I had it. (I keep all the tags that come with the plants). I told them that it was not of much use, because it said only cattleya. They asked me for a no. on the tag and in a corner in very fine print was a long no. I sent it to them and zooom they sent me the name.
It is Cattleya Angel bells 'Suzie' AM/AOS. I was so happy that I finally had this Catt identified. So moral of the story, never throw away the tags. A thought squirreled into my mind. When they can write down a code no. on the tag, why not simply put the name on the tag and save all this trouble???
I am so glad you got the name! Great news!
I know this one! As a vendor it is easier to keep up with a number because names change and changing all of your tags every time a plant's name is changed is almost impossible, but changing the name in the computer next to the code number takes only a few key strokes and the plant with the numerical code doesn't need a tag update.![]()
