The second flowering this year ; the first was in early March, and since then the plant has completed three new bulbs, one of which has two flowers - well, a bud and a flower ; a second has several buds in sheath, and the third has just a sheath . A fourth lead is developing, too.

I like this kind of thing !

Size of flowers - 7cm natural spread. The grex ( Free Spirit) has been awarded a couple of dozen times, but not this particular clone. Some of the awarded plants have had bigger flowers , e.g. 8.6cm, but mostly only one or two flowers per growth - the very occasional 3 flowers.

I think I should get another cycle of growth before I have to repot , so everything could get better , before I have to disturb the roots.
