    This is my first bloom on this baby. So exciting. She just opened this morning.

    The second one is my Blc. Haw Yuan Beauty 'Hong' in "utero". Can't wait for the blessed event!

    Just to update y'all. This bloom is now fragrant after 4 days. Also notice the color change. Ain't life grand!

    Default Question about growing Angel Heart

    Hi, I'm new to this forum and noticed this thread. I've just purchased the same plant and was wondering if you could tell me more about how you got this orchid to bloom. What you do for light, what temp. to you keep it at and how often do you water it? I'm very curious and would appriciate all info you could give me on it. I don't have real good lighting conditions and have just placed it under one 85w cfl, one 23 cfl and two 20w fluorecent tubs with a mini fan on low, room temp ranges from 59-80 degrees farenheit and I have not watered it yet it, I plan on watering it at about 10 days from when I bought it (since it was pritty saturated then) and it seems to be potted in thes large porus rocks in a ceramic pot. Please help. Thank you, Mary

    Also, if you could give me some advise on fertilizing? Oh Yah, I forgot, on my way taking this orchid home, it droped out of my hands and fell on the ground and broke off the flower buds. Should I fertilize the Orchid as recommended or is it considered to be in a dormant stage? Thank you, Mary
